Karl Topia mentioned as “Princeps Albaniae” in 1386

In an official document of the Republic of Venice, dated August 12, 1386, Karl Topia is mentioned as “prince of Albania and lord of Durrës” (principis Albaniae et domini Durachii), while his ambassador appears in Venice to conduct negotiations with the Venetian authorities.
