Vushtrri, since 1916, has had a “Breath Orchestra” (from the Albanian School). All the equipment was financed by Hasan Prishtina, just as he opened the first Albanian school there and other places. He sent some collaborators to Vienna to buy these instruments. When he opened the first school in Polac, Drenica (the birthplace of the first ones), this orchestra performed on that occasion. The question is, has anyone heard any performance by this orchestra and is there still an authentic recording of this group today?
