In the “L’Albania e gli stati Balcanici” published 1901 by Gerard Conforte, we can read:

“Marco Botzari, the hero of the hellenic independence was an Albanian, there were Albanians the other heroes of Eladhe, Zavella, Macry, Odisseo, Miauli, Karaiskaj, Condurioti, Bulgari, Bubulina and Albanais were the other inhabitants of Souli and those of Parga”.
