The unidentified graves in Kosovo remain powerful evidence of the crimes committed by Serbia during the Kosovo War, where thousands of Albanian civilians were killed and disappeared, their bodies hidden in mass graves to conceal the truth.
Even today, Serbia refuses to open the archives and denies these crimes not only in Kosovo, but also across the Balkans during the breakup of Yugoslavia. Events such as the Srebrenica massacre stand as clear evidence of atrocities against Bosniaks, alongside numerous crimes committed against Croats.
The wounds of the past remain open until justice is served and Serbia pays for its warcrimes.
