The Bulgarian False Flag in 1943 in Presheva: Bombing an Albanian Mosque

Cited from Aleksandar Trajković’s book from 1980:

“In the summer of 1943, during prayer in Preshevo, a bomb was thrown into a mosque full of Albanians. On that occasion, 4 Albanians were killed and 18 wounded. The next day, Albanians from a counter-combat unit killed four Serbs in Preshevo in revenge. By doing so, the Bulgarians threw a spark and fanned national hatred. On that basis, they mobilized Albanians into counter-combat units.”
