Kamer Loshi (1886-1925) was an fighter from the village of Pemisht in Drenica who fought for the liberation of Kosovo.
Kamer Loshi was born in Pemisht (Padalishtë) in Drenica. At the age of 16, he started the war against the Turkish invaders and continued it against the Serbian and Montenegrin ones after 1912. With the occupation of Kosovo by Serbia and Montenegro in 1912, his family was sent to the improvised camp in Runik, Skënderaj, known as Lloqi i Runikut.
Kamer Loshi escaped internment and fled to the mountains. That same year, his three brothers joined him in the mountains, as well as a number of comrades, with whom he formed a platoon to fight Serbia and later Austria-Hungary.
With his platoon, Kamer Loshi participated in more than 60 combat encounters against the Serbian army and gendarmerie (1912-1925), liquidated many Chetnik leaders, such as Berdo Šupovaku, etc. He also participated in the suppression of the “Republic of Gjon Marka Gjon” (1921) and in the Democratic Revolution in Albania (1924). Kamer Loshi was surrounded by Serbian forces in the village of Balice and after his comrades were killed and he himself was wounded, he fell on the altar of freedom on March 14, 1925.
