Serbia’s “Mafia-State” - Corruption, Organized Crime and Paramiltaries

Serbia’s “Mafia State” – Corruption, Organized Crime, Hooligans and War Criminals

A recent video circulating on social media from the account RKS NEWS revisits long-standing accusations that Serbia operates as a “mafia state,” drawing a direct line from the era of Slobodan Milošević and paramilitary leader Željko Ražnatović “Arkan” through to current President Aleksandar Vučić and figures such as Milan Radoičić and Zoran Veselinović.

Transcription of the Video (Subtitles / Narration)

“From the time of Slobodan Milošević and his loyal dog Željko Ražnatović Arkan…

…to today’s regime of Aleksandar Vučić.

The structure remains the same.

A mafia state.

Where politics, business, and organized crime are one and the same.

Milan Radoičić — the man behind the Banjska attack — still walks free.

Protected by the system.

Zoran Veselinović — another key figure in the north of Kosovo — operates with impunity.

The same model.

The same people.

Just different names on the surface.

Milošević — Arkan.

Vučić — Radoičić — Veselinović.

Serbia’s deep state has never been dismantled.

It has only evolved.

And the European Union continues to negotiate with it.”
