Six people were arrested today in front of the gate of the Monastery of the Holy Archangels near Prizren, police confirmed. — Radio Gorazhdevac.
According to police information, these individuals were stopped after they tried to take a photo with a flag on the hill above the monastery complex. At the moment, there is no official information about which flag it was, the media reports.
The incident occurred while a traditional folklore fair called “Meeting with Vidovdan” was being held at the Holy Archangels complex. This year it gathered around 1,000 participants and visitors.
A Radio Gorazhdevac team was on site when the police intervened.
The decision on their arrest and further legal measures against the detained persons will be made after consultation with the competent prosecutor, police told the portal.

Despite the incident in front of the gate, the “Meeting with Vidovdan” event continues according to the planned program.
