On May 14, 2026, Mr. SKËNDER RADOTINA, from Puhovci, Peja, known as “Osa of Peja” and “Hercules of Peja”, passed away.

Mr. Radotina was a well-known name in film, a famous stuntman and actor who starred in many Hollywood films and about whom Bekim Fehmiu had written in his books, telling about their meetings and collaborations in the world of film.
He was extremely strong and one of the first Kosovar bodybuilders and was even declared “Mister Universe” in London in 1967. He began his career in 1964 as a stuntman in the film “The Long Ships” starring the great Richard Widmark and Sidney Poitier.

He also played in the Yugoslav films: “Crveni udar” (1974), “Tigar” (1978) and in the Kosovar film “Kur prandeva donohet” (1980). He spent the last part of his life in Paris, France. His death was not recorded by the Kosovar institutions either in Peja or in Pristina, and at least Peja owes this man a debt.

Farewell, the legend of Peja.
