The Albanian Authorities need to Ban Serbian Clero-Fascist Organizations in Gazimestan

By Jusuf Buxhovi

The state of Kosovo, in order to prove its historical and cultural sovereignty in its territory, which has been significantly damaged by the Ahtisaari Package and the concessions to the Serbian Orthodox Church, must first stop Serbian church “pilgrimages” in Kosovo, especially those related to the commemoration of Vidovdan.

It must redefine the monument erected in Gazimestan in accordance with historical truth outside the Serbian hegemonic iconography, which means announcing an international competition for the erection of a memorial that reflects the role of the Dardanian factor in the Middle Ages within the feudal formations where they were equal to their counterparts in the scattered space of Byzantium as well as other factors in it in the circumstances of common Christianity.

Commemoration of the Battle of Kosovo in accordance with the hegemonic concept of Belgrade, which represents nothing but a clerical fascist orgy, must be put to an end once and for all.

There are two strong reasons for this decision:

The first is to protect the sovereignty and state integrity of Kosovo from a vandal aggression that has been repeated every June for the last twenty years or so, when Kosovo has been liberated from Serbian occupation, which also means liberation from the iconography of this occupation, which is based on a falsified myth such as the Battle of Kosovo, to which the Serbian Orthodox Church has for years given the connotations of a religious liturgy based on Greater Serbian hegemonic concepts.

The second has to do with the fact that a historical event, such as the Battle of Kosovo in June 1389, although always with great deficits in scientific argumentation, must not remain in the ownership of the interpretation of Serbian historiography and its anti-scientific concept, in which it is presented as a Serbian “battle” against the Ottomans, excluding its main factors – the Arbëri and others, in a war of union of the Christians of Illyricum against the Ottomans, which took place in Dardania and by no means in Serbia, because at that time, there was neither Serbia nor a medieval Serbian state, as Belgrade propagates, relying on lies and fabricated facts, a lie that is unfortunately also accepted by a good part of the institutional historiography in Tirana and Prishtina.

A prerequisite for Kosovo to finally defend its state sovereignty and at the same time protect historical truth from a flagrant misuse with the Kosovo War, so that Belgrade can also remove the so-called “historical plugs” towards the Middle Ages and Kosovo with which it is demonstrating thanks to the concessions of the Ahtisaari Package and other irresponsible actions of Kosovo politics during these twenty years, is to take the Gazimestan memorial complex under supervision, declaring it a monument of cultural and historical heritage of Kosovo.

This means redefining the memorial from a historical and cultural aspect in accordance with historical truth, which as a prerequisite must have the removal of the current Gazimestan monument, forcibly placed in the thirties of the last century by Belgrade, which symbolizes the hegemonic character of Greater Serbia.
