The famous Swedish actor, Gert Fylking, has equated the Serbian people with Anders Breivik. The moderator of the show “Gert’s World” on Stockholm’s Radio 1, has also “hurled” Serbs with epithets such as: psychopaths, retards and damn pigs .

This event occurred in 2010, when he commented on the Breivik trial in Norway on his program. To his listeners, among whom there are Serbs, the actor – who also deals with politics – said that “Serbs are Breiviks”. At one point, he commented that “the world is full of such people”, after which he was interrupted by the interlocutor with the statement: “However, we have caught this Breivik”. “

We have caught many others, we have caught those Serbs who behave like damn pigs, who have killed hundreds of thousands of people and who have expelled millions. We have caught them. Do you think that Serbs judge them? No, Serbs glorify them as heroes. Who are the psychopaths then? Is the majority of the Serbian people retarded? Or are only those who have committed crimes retarded?”, Fylking said angrily.

According to representatives of Serbian associations in Sweden, such accusations against Serbs are increasingly present in the Scandinavian media. Srbislav Ilic, from the International Initiative for Monitoring the So-Called “Anti-Serbism”, told the Belgrade Press that they will initiate an activity – like earlier in Spain – when for “the same incident, through legal means, an apology was requested on Spanish national television.”

“The epilogue will be an apology from Gert Fylking, on Radio 1,” he says. Otherwise, in Sweden, according to some estimates, there are more than 300 thousand inhabitants of Serbian origin. Gert Fylking has played roles in dozens of Swedish films. In addition to acting and journalism, he is also involved in politics. He is a member of the Christian Party, which has 19 deputies in the Swedish Parliament. Fylking is 61 years old, married and has six children.
