BELGRADE – On the social network “Facebook” a photo of the desecration of the Quran was published by Predrag Pegja Qosovic from Belgrade, seriously insulting Muslims.
“You took Eid, and after that you supposedly congratulated, but we Serbs are enough for ourselves. Happy Eid, you Turks, don’t wait any longer”, – was the message of Predrag Pegja Qosovic, on the social network “Facebook”, where his photo with the Quran in his hand and a lit match was also published.
As the Ina news agency writes, this person is a member of the “Chetniks North” fan group from Belgrade and on his profile he has also published a photo posing with a revolver in his hand.

Belgrade resident Predrag Ćosović, who was arrested two days ago on suspicion of posting pictures on his Facebook profile showing him burning the Islamic holy book, the Quran, was released from custody yesterday, but an investigation has been launched against him, Dušica Ristić, spokesperson for the Higher Court in Belgrade, told Anadolu Agency.
“The Criminal Chamber issued a decision to initiate an investigation today, after the investigating judge expressed disagreement with the initiation of the investigation and released Ćosović yesterday. He confirmed that Ćosović was released to defend himself from prison. Belgrade media previously reported today that no investigation had been launched against Ćosović. Ćosović is charged by the Special Prosecutor’s Office for High-Tech Crime with inciting religious, racial and national hatred and intolerance by posting pictures on his Facebook profile and insults.
Predrag Ćosović, in addition to pictures with a lighter and a Quran, calls himself a coach on Facebook, and has also posted pictures of himself wearing a Red Star fans’ T-shirt “Četniki sever”. On another profile, the same person has posted photos of himself practicing martial arts.
