Ante Prkačin, born on 14 November 1953 in Slavonski Brod, Croatia. He was a general in the Croatian Army and a member of the Croatian Defense Council during the war in Croatia. He is a politician and a member of the Croatian Sabor (parliament).
Ante Prkačin, in a speech delivered in the Croatian Parliament, said: “The Serbian Orthodox Church is a paramilitary and parapolitical institution, which has little or nothing to do with faith in God, but is the founder and inaugurator of Imperialist, chauvinist ideas. Such ideas have only led to war, a war that has caused genocide, ethnic cleansing and scorched earth.”
Mr. Prkačin shows that these criminal and genocidal actions were carried out by the Serbian Army during 1913, and shocked all of Europe, especially the English journalist Edith Durham, who, as a sympathizer of the Serbian-Montenegrin army, had followed this army in the field and was shocked when she saw the massacre of women, children, and civilians, without distinction.
Even Dimitrije Tucovic, a Serbian officer, was horrified when, by order of the High (Central) Military Command, 500 Albanians were killed and massacred (even with knives) in an Albanian village of Luma at once. And at the moment when most of the settlements were left only with women and children, the central command again gave the order: Destroy, burn and kill everyone and everything you see”.
The most terrifying scenario according to Dimitrije Tucovic’s description was when his colleagues were killing young Albanian women with children in their arms and how the children were crying and screaming…
Mr. Prkačin on this occasion recalls similar actions that the Serbian-Montenegrin army carried out during 1924 in Sandžak in a place called Šahović. He says that over 800 Muslim civilians were brutally massacred, again with the permission and order of the highest leadership. Finally, MP Prkačin also held the Serbian army responsible for the Srebrenica genocide. He says that this is the army that was motivated by the Serbian Orthodox Church.
