Rashit Godeni, the last comrade-in-arms of Azem Bejte Galicë, solemnly unveiling the memorial plaque of his commander on July 25, 1990, at the age of 109

The memorial plaque was unveiled in the village of Galicë in Kosovo, on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the passing into eternity of Azem Galicë (1889-1924), who died as a result of wounds received in bloody battles against Serbian forces, the one who fought against the Serbian invaders until his last breath, for the unification of Kosovo with Albania.

“Hey Azem, did I tell you that we will meet again?” – were the words of the comrade-in-arms, Rashit Godeni.

Halit and Rashit Godeni with plis.
