Montenegrin propaganda from 1876 debunked by German newspaper: How Montenegrin forces allegedly defeated Mukhtar Pasha twice in northern Albania

The Serbian defeat Babina Glava and Palanka against Ottoman forces in 1876

Cited:

“Constantinople, July 17. According to a government telegram, yesterday the troops of the division operating under the command of Hafiz Pasha near Palanka attacked the Serbs. After a six-hour bayonet battle, they captured their entrenchments and completely destroyed them. Many weapons and other war materiel were captured. As a result of the advance of the corps under Suleyman Pasha, the Serbs abandoned their entrenchments at Babina Glava without resistance and withdrew, so that a change in government seems almost inevitable.”
