Joq Albania writes:

“Four Serbian ‘pilgrims’ were arrested last night in Gjakova.

This was announced by the Prime Minister’s Office through a press release regarding the Security Council meeting at the request of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti.

The statement states that one of the arrested was a lieutenant in the Serbian police and the other a captain in the Serbian army.

“The general security situation was reported and discussed, with an emphasis on Serbia’s destabilizing plans and criminal interventions. On April 1, after midnight, the Kosovo Post Office in Zvecan was attacked with two hand grenades, one of which exploded. The Post Office in Zvecan has been fully repaired and public services are now being provided there normally.

When we add to this the arrest last night of four Serbian ‘pilgrims’ in Gjakova – one of whom was a lieutenant in the Serbian police and the other a captain in the Serbian army, and everything that was confiscated from them – it is required that all state institutions and mechanisms maintain high attention and readiness,” the press release states.

Meanwhile, the Kosovo Police, through a 24-hour report, announced that two knives and two axes were found and seized in the arrested persons’ vehicle.

Otherwise, the OPM has announced that the Security Council meeting discussed the attack on the Kosovo Post Office in Zvecan, Serbia’s interference in the February 9 elections in Kosovo, as well as the pressure that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is putting on Kosovo Serbs to participate in his rally this week in Belgrade.”
