Albanian Police have announced that they have arrested two people suspected of involvement in crimes against the civilian population during the war in Kosovo in 1999.

According to the police report, the arrest was made in Zubin Potok, while the suspects, two Kosovar men, are suspected of having committed criminal acts against Albanian civilians during the war, resulting in the killing of 23 people, reports Klankosova.tv.

The police have not provided any further details regarding the identity of the arrested or the circumstances of the case, while it is known that by decision of the state prosecutor, the suspects have been taken into custody.

The case remains under investigation by the competent authorities.
