Vienna, 1838: a Greek geography textbook describes Albanians—Arvanites, Arnauts or Shqiptars—as descendants of the ancient Illyrians: handsome, exceptionally strong, warlike, magnanimous and athletic. But sure, two centuries later the internet says they have no history.
