Among us Serbs and the Serbianized people among us — Bulgarians, Vlachs, Aromanians (Tsintsars) and Albanians — it is easier and more advantageous to believe and accept with faith the legends and fabrications and to defend them against corrosive criticism /…/, than not to believe, and then to have to prove why one should not believe in the legends and invented stories that so many abundant, learned and judicious writers have accepted as truth and ready cash.”
