“Captain Flitsch crossed the Ibar River at Farinje and Flitsch stormed the Turkish entrenchments, capturing livestock and supplies. Flitsch now threatens Mitrovissa, the terminus of the railway leading to Salonica.”
Likewise, the Serbian troops who attacked the Turkish position at Golija on Saturday suffered a complete defeat. They lost 200 dead, many weapons, and 2 Cannons. The Turkish losses are minor.
Constantinople, 10 February. Official: The Serbian troops who attacked the fortifications of Novibazar on Friday and the Turkish position at Sokidja on Saturday have been completely defeated with heavy losses.”
