German newspaper from 1876 writes that the Krivoscians (Krivosciens) from Kotor are Albanians

According to an article in the Innsbrucker Tagblatt from 1876, citing the “Die Politische Korrespondenz”, the Krivoscians are described as Albanians.

Cited:

“Die Politische Korrespondenz reports that a dispatch received from Ragusa on the 4th corrects the record regarding the Turkish-Montenegrin clash near Podgorica, stating that the engagement actually took place on the 1st.

During the fighting, the Krivoscians—an Albanian tribe on the Montenegrin border that was supposed to advance alongside the Turks from Medun against the Montenegrins—turned against the Turks; supported by a Montenegrin battalion, they drove the Turkish troops back to Podgorica and captured a large quantity of Turkish weaponry.”
