You know, Serbia has a long and rich history — not only in terms of its rulers and wars, but also in terms of its crimes, which span almost ten centuries. So, let’s start from the beginning, one by one.
THE NEMANJIĆ CLAN – THE FIRST BLOODY PROJECT
In the Middle Ages, the most powerful “family business” in the Balkans was the Nemanjic dynasty. It was not a sacred tribe, but an organized feudal clan, with bloody hands up to the elbows. They carried out massive persecutions and massacres in Duklja and Raška, against the Bogomils, whom they killed or expelled towards Bosnia. Tsar Dushan inherited their savagery, but his self-will lasted little – less than a decade.
OTTOMAN ERA – THE LONGEST PEACE
After them, the Ottomans arrive in the Balkans. And here’s the irony – that’s when the longest peace the Balkans has ever had begins. A full 457 years without Serbian wars and without “liberation” campaigns. This peace only ended when the Ottomans abandoned the region, in the second half of the 19th century.
THE BALKAN WARS – THE BEGINNING OF THE BLOODY 20TH CENTURY
Serbia then looks forward to embarking on new campaigns. In the Balkan Wars (1912–1913), he invaded Kosovo and Metohija and committed terrible crimes – what would later be called genocide. The term did not yet exist, it was only introduced in 1946 at the United Nations, but the works were already distinguishable.
1918 – THE YEAR OF VIOLENT ATTACKS
After World War I, Belgrade did not sit still. It annexed Vojvodina, even though Serbs there made up only a third of the population. The vote for “unification” took place under bayonets, not by free will. A similar scene was played out in Montenegro, where 95 percent of Montenegrins lost the “vote” to 1 percent of Serbs. How? Bayonets instead of fingers.
WORLD WAR II – CHETNIK MORALITY
In the new world war, Serbia, for the most part, was not anti-fascist. The Partisans were a minority; the Chetniks dominated. Therefore, after the war, the country did not expand as it once did, but entered the silence and peace of communism.
TITO – 45 YEARS OF PEACE
Under the communists, Serbia remained silent and lived peacefully for almost half a century. No wars, no blood, no “liberation” campaigns. Until 1990.
NINETEEN YEARS – RETURN TO THE OLD
Then hell begins. From 1991 to 1999, Belgrade entered into wars against all its neighbors: Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, and even Montenegro. He loses all wars, and in the end he loses Kosovo too – by signing the capitulation. After all, mass crimes, destruction, refugees, and traces of genocide remain. Montenegro – promiscuous marriage and divorce
Serbia then forcibly keeps Montenegro within the community. I don’t let him breathe, I don’t let him get divorced. Only in 2006 was the marriage legally and finally dissolved. But even today, in this year 2026, Belgrade does not recognize divorce. He continues to offer “reconciliation”, pays expensive gifts, offers a hug that more closely resembles strangulation.
EPILOGUE – CAN HISTORY BE TEACHED?
Does Montenegro rightly believe that it makes no sense to enter into a relationship with a proven thief again? Because, whoever does not learn from the history of their crimes is condemned to repeat them, sooner or later.
